Utica, WI (June 13, 2024) – Two young girls were killed after the ATV they were operating was struck by a car while they were apparently crossing a roadway on Tuesday, June 11.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to the accident on Bonnie View Road near County Highway 44 in the Town of Utica at around 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday where a car had struck an ATV in the roadway.  Responders found the two occupants of the ATV in the roadway with severe injuries and immediately began life-saving measures; however, one victim died at the scene, while the other died later at the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time, but witnesses were asked to contact Utica authorities.
