Farmington, WI (November 16, 2024) – According to local authorities, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office stated Friday that a pedestrian has died after a crash in the Town of Farmington.

The agency stated that a vehicle was heading northbound on Coffee Road on Thursday when it hit a person who was crossing the road. Jefferson Co. Sheriff’s Office and Johnson Creek Fire Department responded around 5:35 p.m. and attempted to save the victim's life, but officials said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The pedestrian was not identified by authorities. In the meantime, an investigation is still ongoing.
