Springbrook, WI (July 18, 2024) – Authorities have identified the victim who died in a SUV versus semi crash in Dunn County on Tuesday, according to local police.

Per an updated press release from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the SUV that died in the crash was identified as Wayne Myers of the Town of Springbrook.

According to the initial press release of the crash from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, on July 17, at about 10:45 a.m., crews responded to a report of a semi-truck being involved in a crash with an SUV on 710th Street at 240th Avenue in the Town of Spring Brook.

Crews arrived to find that the only person in the SUV was the 77-year-old driver who had no pulse. Life-saving efforts were attempted but he could not be revived. An inquiry into the cause of the crash is still underway in the meantime. However, no further details have been provided so far.
