Eau Claire, WI (September 14, 2024) – Debris was scattered on the roadway after a motorcycle crash that killed one person on Thursday night, September 12, in the Town of Gale.

According to a news release from the agency, on September 12 at about 7:30 p.m., the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a  motorcycle crash with severe injuries on Highway 53 near County Road TTT in the Town of Gale.

The investigation at the scene showed that the motorcycle was traveling northbound when the incident occurred, and the rider later died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash. It's unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision, but the crash is still under investigation. The sheriff’s office asks that if anyone has information about the crash to come forward right away.
