Allis, WI (November 9, 2024) – One person was taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle crash near 108th Street and Cleveland Avenue in West Allis on Saturday, November 9, according to the West Allis Police Department.

Police said they responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m. The West Allis Fire Department added that they also arrived at the scene just after 1:30 p.m. When they arrived, one of the vehicles was on its roof and the driver was hanging upside down by their seatbelt. They began removing the rear door of the vehicle to help assess the driver. The driver's door was also removed to free the driver from the vehicle. That driver was then taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The person taken to the hospital appeared to suffer a non-life-threatening injury, according to police. Police are still investigating the crash. However, no further details about the total number of victims involved has been released, and officers have not provided information on whether citations or charges are pending.
