Allis, WI (June 8, 2024) – A serious multi-driver crash caused major backups on Interstate 41/I-894 northbound, just south of the Zoo Interchange, on Saturday morning, June 8.

Officers stated that the ramp to I-94 was closed at Greenfield Avenue just after 6:00 a.m., and DOT cams showed backups all the way to Lincoln Avenue. Just before 8:00 a.m., police blocked the on-ramp from Lincoln. EMTs assessed several injured victims at the site, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner was also called to the scene.
