Texas, WI (September 25, 2024) – Officers with the Texas Police Department say that one woman is dead following an electronic bicycle crash on Wednesday.
According to a release from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 5:42 a.m. for reports of a crash at the intersection of County Highway WW and Green Valley Road in the town of Texas. Deputies say a 54-year-old woman crashed while using an electric bicycle and was flown to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The crash is still under investigation, and specific details of the crash have not been released thus far. Though no additional information was disclosed, witnesses were asked to contact officers with the Medford Police Department if they had additional information to report.
