Madison, WI (May 29, 2024) – One person died and two others were injured on May 28 after a wrong-way crash in downtown Madison.
Madison Police Department spokesperson Stephanie Fryer said the crash was reported at around 12:20 p.m. in the 900 block of eastbound Washington Avenue near the intersection with North Paterson Street. Fryer said a wrong-way driver crashed into an SUV. The vehicles then slid into a parked, unoccupied vehicle.
