Fox Lake, WI (October 19, 2024) – Authorities are investigating a vehicle crash that resulted in serious injuries to at least one person on State Highway 33 on Friday morning, October 18.

Shortly before 9:00 a.m., a witness reported the crash. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident took place on the northbound side of State Highway 33, where at least one vehicle spun out and rolled at the site. There is no information yet on the total number of people involved, but one adult male passenger sustained serious and possibly life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a nearby medical center before being flown to a trauma center, where his condition is currently unknown.

Another passenger, a juvenile female, initially appeared uninjured but lost consciousness and was also taken to a medical center before being flown to a trauma center. Additionally, an infant passenger in a car seat was taken to the hospital as a precaution, though deputies reported the infant appeared unhurt.

In the meantime, the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, and no further details have been released. Police have not provided additional details thus far, though witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible.
