Door County, WI (August 6, 2024) – Authorities with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation said that a two-vehicle accident involving a Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle sent an Egg Harbor man to the hospital on Saturday, August 3.

Per reports from officials, the accident occurred just before 1:40 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Highway Y when a Wisconsin State Patrol sports utility vehicle hit an unknown vehicle. One man was transported to a Green Bay Hospital, where he was treated for suspected major injuries. A third driver suffered minor injuries, but he did not need to be transported.
